ARMENIAN
MINISTRY OUTREACH: PART II
Volume XXXXVIII No. 12
We continue this month with Part Two of
our Armenian ministry outreach. We are reporting about our
meeting in a village closest to Mount Ararat when Noah’s Ark
landed after the 40 days of rain. "But God remembered Noah and
all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark.
And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters
subsided; the fountains of the deep and the windows of the
heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained,
and the waters receded from the earth continually.
At the end of a hundred and fifty days the
waters had abated; and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth
day of the month, the ark came to rest upon the mountains of
Ararat." (Genesis 8:1-4 RSV The mountains of Ararat are located
between the Black and Caspian Seas in Southern Armenia. Although
‘Mount Ararat’ has become popularly used for where Noah's ark
came to rest, as The Bible account states, Ararat was actually a
mountain range. Two peaks, about 7 miles ( 11 kilometers) apart,
have been identified as the most likely location of the ark's
resting place.
The one is 14,300 feet and the other
10,300 feet above the adjacent Araxes plain. The higher of the
two has a snow-covered peak year round, and was known to the
ancient Persians (who were neither Jews nor Christians) as
‘Noah's Mountain.’ What a joy to win souls to Christ in the
village closest to this Biblical mountain of Mount Ararat!

The building, as you can see in the photos,
is where we held the meetings except for the photo on the left
where we gave the students a copy of my book that we had printed
in the Armenian language. We printed 3,000 copies of my book
‘Secrets to Successful Christian Living.’
The feedback of the book has been
wonderful, much like the same book we had translated which I
wrote for the former USSR. We have had three reprinting of the
book in the Russian language. We provide the books free to
students, ministers and ministries. This has been a good
outreach for the many books I have written translated in major
and minor languages in various countries. |

We are now preparing my book on the
‘Keys of the Kingdom’ in the Chinese language. However, we will
tell of this in a future report. You may note on my book cover,
that the Armenian alphabet is different than any we have ever
seen. The photos show the building in the village of Hovteshen
near Mihailovka, which you have helped build under the shadow of
Mount Ararat. |

finished and utilized. The purchase is recorded in our Armenia
Report - Vol. 48 #3 found on our website. |

Hands on their hearts praying the Sinner’s Prayer. |

Young and old receiving Jesus as Saviour, rejoice! |
|
However, the hall was packed and the best
part is that many new people that came to the meeting were won
to Christ. This is the greatest miracle when a person comes to
Christ and is BORN AGAIN of the Spirit of God! It causes joy in
heaven. Luke 15:10 (KJV) Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy
in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that
repenteth.
We love winning souls for the Lord Jesus
Christ. This is why we went to Armenia and why, for almost 50
years we have gone into country after country sharing the Good
News of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. |

We remember His Words in His Great Commission
to the whole Church in Mark 16:15 (KJV) And he said unto them,
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every
creature. Viewing the photos here is a scene we never tire of
seeing.
All these years Marge and I have thrilled
over the winning of one soul or the winning of up to six
thousand in a single service in the call to repentance and
salvation through our Lord.
Please continue to pray for us. We pray
that in the latter days of our ministry, we will see a greater
work done for the Lord than ever before in the ministry He has
called us to.
God bless you.
On behalf of precious souls,
Tony and Marge Abram |
