THE
UKRAINIAN CAMP MEETING & OUTREACH MINISTRY EXPERIENCE!
Vol 45 #11 |
|
What a wonderful God we
serve! This has been one of our busiest years ever and greatly rejoicing
in what the Lord has done. Together with Walter Zygarewicz, we arrived
after 28 hours and a 5-hour drive to minister that same night in the
Ukraine Youth Regional Rally in Volin, Ukraine. We had a mighty
rally in spite of being so tired. God gave us strength to minister and
we had a goodly number respond to Surrender to Christ and then many
yielded themselves to the Call of God on their lives.
Praise the Lord! It is
always wonderful to win ‘Soul winners.’ |

Thousands of Youth gather to
hear the Word!
Early the next
morning we traveled almost 2 hours to a Pastors Conference/Seminar
in Kovel, we had a full day with the pastors of the province. There
were many who expressed their appreciation for the teaching and
encouragement toward evangelism. There were about 100 pastors
participated in the conference and were blessed. |

Then
after an early supper with all the ministers, we drove another hour
to a tent crusade in Ratne, Ukraine. In Ratne, Associate Pastor
Stephen Scots, of Sacramento, California invited us to minister at
the tent crusade. He even interpreted me one night. Their church put
on a free health clinic for one-day hiring 20 Ukrainian doctors
(mainly specialists) for twenty dollars each. Many of the doctors
came to the crusade service. |

Some
were healed themselves in the meeting. Many people responded to the
call of salvation and many were healed, even several of the doctors.
The
mayor of the city came to the service and thanked us for what we are
doing. There were testimonies of healing and deliverances.
Water’s
sister in law from Woodburn Oregon Zina Shevkenko also was with
Walter. She and her husband Ben pastor a large Slavic church in
Woodburn. She was born in Kerch, Crimea. (Now a part of Ukraine)
This was her first visit since she left at age two.
She went
through WWII there, in Poland and Germany, captured together with
her parents by the German Army and forced to work on the railways.
They came to the USA after the war. |
|
We ministered in Lutsk,
at the Central Pentecostal Church where many were touched by the
power of God and testified of healing. This church, with over 2000
members, is the largest in the Pentecostal Union in Ukraine. There
are one or two that are larger that are pastors by two men from
Africa. One is Pastor Henry and the other is Pastor Sunday.
I was invited to be a
guest speaker together with Walter Zygarewicz at the Youth Camp in
the Koristan area, (many young married couples and teenagers) came
from all over Ukraine. There were 4,700 registered not counting
those who did not register. We both ministered to about 5,000 young
people in every service. When I preached on evangelism there were
over 500 came forward in response to a call to be missionaries. |

The harvest is ripe and the
workers are few. This is the harvest time.
Hundreds
were baptized in the Holy Spirit and 2-3 thousand were refilled with
the Holy Spirit. The last night we were there I gave my testimony,
like the Apostle Paul I love to tell the old story of how I met
Jesus and how he changed my life. (You can find a good part of my
testimony by going to our website at www.tonyabram.com.)
There were at least
300 that responded to the altar call for Salvation plus more than
400 backsliders surrendered and returned to the Lord with rejoicing,
many with much tears and repentance. There were hundreds others who
made a rededication to the Lord. Several thousand cried out as
Isaiah did “Here am I”, I am ready to proclaim, live and demonstrate
the gospel. |

Our friend and
missionary, from Taiwan with his team, Brother Nick Krisisky came
for the last night of the camp to be with us. He was thrilled and
amazed with the camp meeting, which is located not far from Chernoal.
Except for the open tabernacle the camp is quite primitive. There is
no running water, no kitchens, no dorms and only outhouses and it
looked like hundreds if not several thousand tents. Everyone
prepared food for themselves. Quite different than the fancy
comfortable camps we have in North America. |

Tony with Victor. Kucher |
It was nice to see
students from some of our schools attending. We also saw Victor and
Agaifa Kucher from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They were visiting
family near by and came to visit the camp. We closed our ministry in
Kiev.
We are preparing for
parallel schools in Krasnodar, Russia, and in Kharkov, Ukraine.
We will have a third school and conference in Moscow in Nov/Dec.
|
|
This will be for
pre-selected missionaries, by the regional bishops, who will plant
churches in un-reached parts of Russia, such as Siberia, near China
and Mongolia, etc. We are discussing an additional school in
Armenia. We are also supporting a training program for Central Asia,
which I cannot elaborate here. |

One note my luggage did
not arrive until the morning I was leaving Ukraine. Earlier this
year Marge and I had to wait four days for it to arrive to Ukraine
but this time it just did not come until I was leaving. I do
always carry an extra shirt, socks and change of underwear. Washing
had to be done every night and wore dry or not the next morning.
Almost like Romania we were under a very hot heat wave. Records
broken, so had to change clothes every day. These are some of the
small things we much face and keep on praising God not for it but in
it. Praise God! |

Thank you for you’re
understanding and again, thank you for standing with us and backing
our efforts. Together we are making a difference. Many blessings to
you and may God grant you His divine wisdom in all you do. |

OUR SUPREME
TASK IS THE EVANGELISM OF THE WORLD! LET US BE BUSY ABOUT OUR
FATHER’S GOOD BUSINESS! WE ARE WORKERS TOGETHER WITH OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST.
Mark 16:15 Go ye
into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. |
