SEMINARS, RALLIES: NORTH AMERICA REPORT!
Volume XXXXIII
No. 3 |
|
Recently I
looked in the dictionary for the definition of "seminar". This is
what I read:
"A group of students engaged, under the guidance of an instructor,
in original research in a particular line of study, and in the
exposition of the results by theses, lectures, etc.; -- called also
seminary".
The word seminar
also means "seminary". This past year, across North America, we have had
seminars and soul winning rallies that have been blessed of the Lord.
Though they have been of short duration, (usually just when we are
passing through North America) they have proved to be a great blessing.
We have had the best soul winning altar calls we have ever had in North
America. Hundreds coming, weeping and receiving what they needed
when I have given the call to come to Jesus. |

Since the collapse of the Soviet
Union and Communism more than 12 years ago, millions of former citizens
of the USSR have left their lands in search of a better life.
Millions have come to the USA. For an example 15 years ago there
was only one Slavic Church in Seattle, Washington. Now in the
area, there are more than 45 churches with membership up to 2,500.
In Sacramento, California they now have over 80 churches in the city.
The largest that we have preached in has over 4,000 members, having an
attendance of 6,000 when counting children where Brother Bonderuk is
pastor. We have taught in their Bible Training School with over
200 students. God is raising up soul winners not only winning
Slavic but winning the whole world to Christ. |

This past year
Walter Zygarewicz,
Marge and I held leadership seminars, youth and soul winning rallies in
Lincoln, Nebraska, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Everett, Tacoma, Seattle,
Washington, Florida, San Francisco and Sacramento, California. From
these Leadership Seminars, we believe God is raising up many workers who
will and are already now going into the entire world, preaching the
Gospel. When we have given the call for surrender to the perfect Will of
God and Call to the ministry, we have seen many hundreds this past year
answer the Call with tears. We have seen the largest altar calls
in our North American ministry among these precious Slavic people, with
up to 500 in a single service, coming to the Living Christ. Most
are Russian and Ukrainian but there are also people from Belarus,
Poland, the former Yugoslavian states, Bulgaria, Chez, Slovakia, and
many more Slavic people from the other countries that made up the former
USSR. |

Many came to the Lord in this rally. |

Most of the time we have worked and
arranged these meetings in between our missions when passing through the
USA has permitted us to do so. We have had invitations to return
and invitations from many others parts of North America. Sometimes
it seems strange to have to use a Russian interpreter in the USA.
However, not so, if the seminar is held immediately after returning from
Ukraine or Russia where we had been using them. We believe these
people and churches are going to have a great impact on North America.

Tony, Marge and Walter with Slavic leaders! |

Tony leading souls to Christ. |

I remember about eight years ago, I
was asked to fill in for David Wilkerson at the North American Slavic
Conference outside of Seattle. (I was in Jr. High School with his
brother Donald when I was a teenager.) There were about 7,000 Slavic
people attending. At this time I was still feeling that all these
believers that had left the former USSR were taking the light out with
them. However, now I see a bit of God?s Wisdom. (Isa 55:9 KJV) For as
the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your
ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. |
|

Many hungry hearts for the Word! |
|
With these leaving, first, God has
raised up in the former USSR a new generation of workers with a fresh
vision for their nations. Secondly, many of those believers who have
left their homelands have found prosperity and now are giving much for
the Work of God in the former USSR to evangelize. Thirdly, God has
prepared many of these and their children who have left their homeland
as laymen and are now returning with the Word, anointing and funds to
evangelize their former home countries. |

In addition to this, having the
knowledge, language and customs, they are also able, with their
passports, to travel and preach where many Americans and people from the
West cannot go such as the Middle East Muslim countries. |

There has been prophecy that God is
going to use the Slavic and Chinese people to evangelize the Arab and
Muslim countries of the world. Truly Romans 8:28 is at work here. (Rom
8:28 KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
