ARGENTINA CRUSADE REPORT!
Volume XXXXII No. 2 |
|

The first night harvest of precious Argentinean souls coming to
Jesus! |
PART II
In this month’s ‘Good
News’ we want share some of the wonderful things God did to bring
Glory to Himself in our second crusade in the small city of Catriel,
Rio Negro, Argentina.
About 15 to 20
thousand people live there. It required a seven-hour bus ride
through flat, almost desolate ranch land.
We started the
crusade in their exposition hall. It was too small for the great
crowd that came even from the first night. Many were turned away.
There was standing room only! |
|
The
second night we knew we had to do something so we moved to the
amphitheater. The reason was that from the beginning God
confirmed His Word with healings.
One
night 5 deaf testified of healing. Brother
Mike Brandebura, who shared and also
ministered to the sick personally, while I prayed a mass prayer.
One
night, a crippled woman that was carried to the meeting and was
prayed for by Mike, got up from her chair and began to walk on her
own. Brother Mike also taught in our short seminar to the
pastors and workers.
Brother Anatolio Rysko
interpreted with a great anointing on him as well. |

The second night harvest we have to move to larger location |
|

Gathering for the night service at amphitheater. |
One
of many wonderful testimonies was that the leading pastor in the
city who co-operated with the crusade, his mother threw her crutch
on the platform and walked, healed after prayer.
She
is 80 years old and the next day we had borsht (Slavic beet soup)
with her and her son that she prepared. They were so very happy.
The
amphitheater was filled with people. |
|

Great crowds, standing room only. |
We made some plans
to return next year, as we feel great revival is coming to this area
of Argentina.
In this
crusade, not only did the Deputy Mayor attend the crusade, but came
forward to receive Christ as Personal Savior and Lord!
Many were the
miracles but of course the greatest miracle was seeing the hundreds
of people come to the Living Christ. |
|
I believe this is how Marge and I have been able to
keep on going year after year in this ministry. The Word says in (Neh
8:10 KJV) …for this day is holy unto our Lord:
neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
We know there is
great joy in the presence of God over one sinner repenting and we
believe that the joy of winning souls flows into us giving us
strength to keep going.
Pastor Ruben, who has
a church building seating 200 plus, now is going to, by faith, build
a building to seat 1700 people. The city has given them about
5 acres of land right in the city limits in an area where hundreds
of new homes will be built in the next 2 to 5 years. Our ministry
has
pledged $1,000.00
to help in their building project. |
|
I did not think God
would use us again in South America.
God used us in the
last generation in South America winning thousands, now we have a
new generation that needs to be won to Christ.
We have a new
opportunity for many doors are opening, many are asking us to come.
We believe that God will help us have a second harvest in this new
generation. Praise God!
These recent
Argentina crusades remind me a bit of the type of ministry we had
years ago.
One of the
best compliments
I have or can receive, came from the ministry in Catriel. They said
that others had come to their city in the past. Their message was
not like ours and perhaps it is why they had little success.
|

Hundreds press forward for a touch from Jesus. |
They said that I
preached the
pure Word
of God and that
everyone could understand
the message. We praise God for this and give Him all the Glory and
Praise!
Please continue to pray for us, that
we would always be sensitive to the Leading of the Holy Spirit. God
has, over the years, used people just like you, to partner with
Marge and I by standing with us in prayer and faith.
God bless you. Your missionaries to
the world, Tony and Marge Abram.
