MOSCOW, RUSSIA
NATIONAL CONFERENCE REPORT!
Volume XXXX No. 5
|
Looking at
the snow-covered landscape of Russia as we arrived at the Moscow Airport, I
could not but think of the great white, ripe and ready harvest fields. Even
with the new restrictions that are being imposed in preaching the gospel in
Russia, a few years ago it would have been impossible to do what we are
doing now in the former Soviet Union. |
|

Leaders from all over Russia praising God for what He is doing for His people of
Faith, |
|
Yes, the
State Religion has curtailed the door of Evangelism, but it is still better
than the impossibilities imposed on the ministry of soul winning by the
communists for 70 long years. Praise the Lord for opening these doors that
to winning the lost to Christ.
We had the privilege of ministering to almost 300 leaders, (Bishops, Pastors
and Evangelists) from across Russia and even some from Siberia, Tarter Stan,
Kazakhstan and Germany. They represented the more than 1500 churches across
Russia. What a thrill to be able to pour out our hearts and share with them
the ministry of Miracle Evangelism and that they will be able to carry the
message back to their areas of ministry. |

Left to right: Albert Ramirez, Tony Abram and Walter Zygarewicz,
ministry team for Moscow.
|
In a way this is
multiplication and duplicating my ministry by sharing with them what the
Lord has taught Marge and I over the past 40 years of World Evangelism. Psa
126:2 KJV Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with
singing: then said they {WE} among the heathen, The LORD hath done great
things for them. {3} The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are
glad. Our ministry team also
included Walter Zygarewicz of Global Vision and Albert Ramirez of Faith
Prophetic Ministry International. These men of God were a blessing to the
people. |

Ministry team for the Moscow Evangelistic Meetings. |
|

Mike Polchowski with Tony Abram. |
We also
had with us Mike Polchowski from Burlingame, California who is Walter’s
brother in law.
He was born in Belarus and
had not been back since he left with his family for Argentina when he was 2
years old. He was a blessing to us in the meetings.
We were also told from the
former Bishop of Russia, Brother Murza, that all the churches we had planted
in Russia are growing and getting stronger. We rejoiced to hear that.
|
|

Bishop of Tarter Stan with a promise from Tony and Walter to come to evangelize
his country. |
We also have
been pressed to spend more time in different parts of Russia and have made
some future commitments to Russia and Kazakhstan. |
|

These Spiritual Leaders will not ever be the same after this Conference. |
We also promised
to do something for the hundreds of thousands of Slavic people in Western
Europe, especially in Germany.
We thank God for the move
of the Spirit during the conference. Many workers were refilled with the
Holy Spirit and a good number were healed.
They will return to their
fields of labor with a fresh vision and anointing. |
|

Bishop Pavel Okara |
We were glad to
meet the new Bishop of the Fellowship of Evangelical and Pentecostal
Churches of Russia, Brother Pavel Okara.
We found him to be a loving
brother with a great heart of compassion. We feel he will be a good man to
work with in the future.
There was much appreciation
shown to us for the help we had given them. They said they could not have
had this National Conference without us.
We told them to just thank
and praise the Lord, that it was people like you that God has used to help
us to help them.
We are all workers together
with Christ. "We then, as workers together with him, beseech you
also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain." (2 Cor 6:1 KJV) |
|
 |
Evangelist Tony Abram with his interpreter in Moscow. Please continue to pray for Russia. We do not know how much longer the
doors will remain open. The restrictions are becoming more and more
difficult. |
However, we believe God’s Word.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against
us? (Rom 8:31 KJV)
|

Mother Abram is praying for you! |
In next month’s
Good News we will be reporting on the St. Petersburg, Russia ministry. We
will continue to share what God is doing and give Him all the Glory!
Thank you for your prayers. We
know God uses people like you to carry us with your faith through the ministry
God has given us. Please continue to pray for Marge and I.
Pray also for
Mom Abram who faithfully works to prepare and send this news report to you.
I know she is praying for you along with Marge and I. God bless you and
yours is our prayer. Tony & Marge. |
