JAPAN
MINISTRY and SEMINAR REPORT!
April 2003 Volume XXXX No. 8
|
Leaving Belarus, we flew from Minsk to Frankfurt, Germany, then Chicago to
Tokyo and finally to Osaka, Japan. There we had a meeting and the next day
flew to Okinawa, Japan. The weather was perfect in Okinawa. |
  |
|
God has
given us favor on this island. The people are not only friendlier but seem
more open to the Gospel. We had wonderful ministry with testimonies of those
who received during our ministry the previous year. |
|

TONY PRESENTING SISTER YOSHIKO SENSEI. |
One highlight of
the ministry took place when we ordained Pastor Yoshiko Ito who has had a
wonderful soul-winning, church planting ministry for 25 years in Okinawa.

MARGE, YOSHIKO AND HER 83 YEAR OLD MOTHER WHOM SHE BAPTISED. |
| The
next day after our Sunday morning service, she held her first Baptismal
service. The very first person she baptized was her 83-year-old mother. The
baptism took place in the China Sea. |

COAST.
THE SPIRIT OF GOD WAS WONDERFUL!

|
The most well
known Gospel singer in Japan is Reiko who has sung in our meetings along
with Marge.
She too has an
83-year-old mother who was baptized as well. It was a beautiful time of
blessing as many were baptized.
It was also a
great testimony to all who witnessed the scene. The whole church
gathered by the sea and many unbelievers were there seeing these precious
Japanese saints follow the Lord in Water Baptism.

KAMAKZI PILOT IN WWW II.
|
We also met with some
Japanese ministries and made plans for future ministry in Okinawa.
We want to
have an Island Wide Mass Crusade in this part of Japan someday soon. We left
Okinawa by plane and then flew to Kansai, Japan where we took the boat to the
island of Awaji for a few days with our Associate Evangelists Jim and Darla
Snipe who are our representatives in Japan. Jim is also on our International
Board of Advisers. They took us to Inagawa for ministry and the National Seminar
for Church School Outreaches.
One of
Marge’s themes was her teaching on ‘Cultural Differences.’ I taught on
‘Evangelism through Church School Ministry’ and ‘Discipleship through Church
School Ministry.’
I must
confess that these were new subjects for me. I had to spend quite some time
in study and research. (It was during this time that police notified the
local churches in Japan that Marge and I were terrorist targets. However,
God took care of us. Praise God!) |

The lives of workers and ministers from many parts of Japan were blessed during
this seminar. It was the anointing of the Lord that brought the blessing on the
Word and ministry God had given to us.
All Glory to God!
Working with Aoki
sensei and his dear Yumiko sensei is always a great joy and blessing. They are
dedicated to the Work of God. One of the titles given to us in Japan is ‘The
greatest couple in the whole world.’ However, we think the Aokis are a great
couple, having given their all to the Lord Jesus.
We believe Revival is coming
to Japan. We feel that is why God keeps having us come back to Japan,
sometimes twice a year. God is using us to plant much seed and I believe is
some small way we are helping prepare for the coming Outpouring of the Holy
Spirit |

We know we
are doing the Commission of Jesus found in
- Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go
ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature".
Thank you for
your part in helping Marge and I take the Gospel to so many parts of the world
over the many years of Missionary Evangelism.
- Mat 28:18 "And Jesus came and
spoke
unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth".
- Mat 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them…….
- Mat 28:20 "Teaching them
to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
Amen.
God bless you. Tony & Marge. |
